Below are the five Health Related Components of Fitness. Our fitness testing at the beginning of the semester tested our abilities in each of these catagories.
Read through the components and pick out the one that you feel you need to focus on this semester.
In your blog I want to know three things:
1. What component are you going to focus on?
2. Why did you choose that component?
3. What are you going to do to improve in that component?
Cardiovascular Fitness: The ability of the circulatory system (heart and blood vessels) to supply oxygen to working muscles during exercise.
Body Composition: The relative percentage of body fat compared to lean body mass (muscle, bone, water,etc)
Flexibility: The range of movement possible at various joints.
Muscular strength: The amount of force that can be produced by a single contraction of a muscle
Muscular endurance: The ability of a muscle group to continue muscle movement over a length of time.

I am going to focus on cardiovascular fitness. I chose this component because I have trouble doing exercise that require cardiovascular indurance such as running. I am going to improve this component by doing exercises such as running and jump roping.

i want to work on muscular strength and muscular endurance. they will help for football. i will follow the workouts you give us
muscular endurance its good for game time speed and being to continue after a long time. also if you have endurance u will get stronger by being able to lift more weights and do more reps. to improve on this goal im going to run more often and do lots of endurance work outs low weight high reps and sets

You left your comment in period three. You have made a keen observation, flexibility is the key to proper form in most cases. Your's is a problem of a lack of flexibility in the hammy's as well as the hip flexors, that causes excsssive spinal extension not flexion. We will fix it before you graduate.
muscle endurance because it helps your muscles keep going at full speed during games and workouts by them not getting as tired as quickly. To improve this i will work harder by lifting harder and running more

I will focus on body composition. I chose this component because my activities require high mobility and the ability to elevate my own body, and so a high muscle to fat ratio would help me achieve these ends. To improve in this component, I will focus on muscular strength in class and I will try to keep active and eat right during my own day-to-day schedule so that my body fat level will decrease and my lean body mass will increase

i would work on Cardiovascular Fitness so that i dont get tired as fast. i would work on this by running more long distance.

I am going to focus on building muscular strengh and weight.i think is going to help on the field during the football season and throughout the season.
I want to focus on muscular strength and body composition. I hope before I graduate that I produce a good amount of force bya single contraction of the muscle. Since I have a lot of fat I want to work on body composition and be able to discard the body fat and focus on my body mass.

I am going to focus on cardiovascular fitness because it hasn't always been my strength and I hope to gain a lot of endurance so I can do better in the sports I play. I will improve this component by doing such workouts like running, jump roping, and whatever you suggest that will help this component.

I am mainly going to focus on Muscular Strength, but also on muscular endurance. I chose muscular strength and endurance so i have quick bursts of power, which i can use when i need them for football. I will do high intensity workouts and more reps.

Im going to focus on muscular endurance so that after a good day of lifting I will be more endurance to continue lifting the next day instead of being tired.I also want to get stronger faster so I want to be able to lift more every week.So to improve this Im going to try and lift alot of small weight and switch it up so that Ican keep lifting throughout the week without being exhausted,(I have a 0/10 on blog 3,you told me to remind you coach).
