Period 3 Weight Training - Form

We are heavy into our first month of working out and so far our focus has been on form and not so much on the weight we are lifting. Why do we spend so much time focusing on form?

Good form helps make muscles stronger then just adding a ton of weight

We are focusing so much on form because you can get hurt if you do not have the right form. Once you get your form down, adding more and more weights gets easier, but without the correct form it can be very hard

the better form you have, the more weights you will be able to lift with proper form safely. Its all about fundamentals!

Well you said it yourself. people need about 1000 reps of the workout before they "master it." Working on form with less weight allows one to master it, and then when weight is added, the workout is easier and there's a less chance of injury.

Good form helps because if you don't keep good form it may cause serious injuries that could last a long time.

we focus on form becuase if your not doing a lift with correct form, you will hurt yourself. once you have correct form you are able to add more weight and it will be easier then as if you were doing the lift with wrong form.

We focus on good form so much because in the long run, we will have a greater ability to increase weight, it becomes a habbit, after 1000 reps. Also, it prevents long-term injuries.

form is very important because without good form, you risk injuries. lifting heavier weights gets easier when using good form but is very difficult and possibly dangerous without correct form

We work on our form a lot in order to make sure that when we do use weights, we are doing the exercise properly and using the desired muscles properly

Improper form can lead to sprains, strains, fractures and other painful injuries that may hinder your weight training efforts.

Plus, the better the form, the more effective the amount of weight being lifted.

good form helps with weight lifting. increases muscle and respiratory health. without form it can lead to major injuries

Good form prevents capricious injuries and project your muscles in the correct direction, enabling you to lift more in the long run.

Without good form you are more open to injuries and can cause long tern injuries. It also makes bigger weight easier to lift because you are using the correct muscles which makes it easier to get you stronger and make progress as an athlete.
