An Invasion game concept that you taught us was the screen.
There's the indirect screen and the direct screen. The indirect screen is basically when you set a pick so one of your teamates is already at the basket, ready to shoot. A direct screen is when you set a pick behind the defender so they cannot move, giving the offensive team the advantage of getting the ball to a teamate, or closer to the basket so that they can score.

A give and go is one invasion game concept. Passing the ball to a teamate and then making a run to the basket or open space is a give and go.

One concept that you taught was to defend the basket on defense and attack the basket on offence. This is done because on offence, you want to score as many goals as you can as often as possible, and on defence you try to stop the opposing offence from doing that.
