Period 2 Soccer/Floor Hockey

Overload is a principle in fitness that helps make us stronger!

The Overload Principle is putting increased stress or load on the body in order to stimulate a training adaptation (increase in strength or endurance). In order for this increase in strength or endurance to occur, we need to work.

Since you are earning a grade for overloading your body each Tuesday & Thursday, what are some things, I as the teacher, should look for to see if you are overloading your body?

You should look for sweating, breathing hard, and people being genualy tired. If they aren't then they probably didnt do anything at all, because those exercises are REALLY TIRING!!!

Things that you should look out for in overload is to see if the person is sweating or red in the face. These are signs of someone being tired and overworking themselves. Another sign would be if someone is having a hard time breathing.

If people aren't sweating, then they aren't trying as hard as they could. When people are excersisng, make sure that they are sweating.

You can tell if some one is really working out by looking for sweat, a red face, and shortness of breath.

you should look for people trying hard, by looking at someone you can pretty much tell there physical ablilty, so you can tell if a fat person is worknig hard or if a fit person isent working hard.

You should look for deep breathing, and sweat generally, and people actually trying to complete their tasks.

If people aren't sweating and red-faced then they aren't trying as hard as they can. You should look for a tiredness, sweat, and panting to know that someone has tried their hardest on fitness days.

you should look for hard sweating, hard breathing and students beginning to lose energy in later exercises.

i think that you should look for people that are sweating a lot, breathing hard and maybe redness in the face. Overall, if there is no sweat, then they really are not challenging themselves.

i think one sighn of overload is sweat. But, some people dont sweat. Panting is another one, and red faces is another. Even still, just people looking tired and not walking straight means they pushed it to the max.

Things that you should you look for to show that we are overloading our bodies are that we are sweating, red-faced, out of breath, and just tired in general because people who don't work hard usually do not have such conditions.

I believe you should look for sweating, red faces, shortness of breath and just looking tired in general.

you should look for deep breathing and sweating. you can tell if someone is working hard or not if they are sweating, that shows that they are moving around and trying to get open instead of standing still which makes it easier for the defender to guard you.

If we are overloading our bodies, it will be clear over a period of time that the exercises are becoming easier and we are able to do more of them. Also, you should see us trying to push ourselves to a level where it is hard and not just work at a level of comfort.

You should look for people sweating like mad, breathing really hard, and people having trouble walking because their muscles hurt.

To see how hard someone is working, you should see them struggling to succeed as well as sweating and other things mentioned by our classmates.
