This Bolg is a summative assessment and is due by Mon. 9/15/08
Over the next couple of weeks we will be working on our "Muscle Memory" for various movements. Define muscle memory and explain how it can benefit you in your training.
This blog will count as a summative assessment and I will not post answers until next Monday, so don't keep posting just because you do not see your post up there. If you submitted it I have it.

muscle memory is when you train your muscles to do something so much, that all you have to do is think about it and your muscles will go to their memorized placement. it is important by being able to train and focus on your technique trather than if you are positioned wrong. it will feel like seccond nature

I think muscle memory is basically how after repeating an action several times our mind and muscles will become used to this action and it will remember it. That way we will perform the action better and with better form hopefully.

Muscle memory is a process that a person often trains exercise repeatedly, and his/her brain will start to adapt that muscle movement during that exercise.
Muscle memory can benefit us because it will allow our muscles to adapt the movement during the exercise, makes our bodies be more flexable.

Muscle Memory is training your body to do certain movements. Such as benching, at first your muscles will not be used to it and you'll have to activly think to use correct form. After benching for a long time though your muscles will be used to the movements and use correct form atomatically. Muscle Memory only improves from continualy doing the same movement over time.
Muscle Memory is your memory for motor skills and it can benefit you during training because once you get the correct form on a lift your muscles will know where they have to be next time you do that lift.

Muscle memory, or neuromuscular facilitation, is simply the process of neuromuscular system memorizing. This will help us for our workouts by reducing the risk of injury.

Muscle memory is training your muscles so that they get used to doin g a certain exercise. It helps in training because the next time you do the exercise your muscles are used to doing it so it wont hurt alot.

muscle memory is when we repeatedly do a certain thing involving our muscles, to allow our brain and muscles to adapt to the action together
Muscle Memory helps because once you do the workout alot your muscles get used to the movment. It becomes easier to focus on smaller details and you can use more weight without worrying as much because your muscles are used to the excersise.

Muscle memory is when your body remembers a form or process of excercise from repeated workouts. For example, by repeating the form of a squat for a couple of weeks over and over again each day, your body will remember the form. This is important so that we can use correct form in our workouts without much thought.

muscle memory is like your brain adapts to your repeated exercises. And your brain and muscles will recognize the same exercise you do next time.
